[0:00] And now, the Flophouse Movie Minute.

[0:09] Hey, what's up? It's me, Stuart Wellington from The Flophouse, with a hot new Movie Minute for you guys.

[0:17] I was just hoping to tell you guys a little story from a few years back, when I went to see Van Helsing in a pre-screening.

[0:26] Note, I did not pay to go see Van Helsing, but I would have.

[0:33] So, a buddy of mine went to go see it in New York City, you know, the big city, it was pretty impressive.

[0:40] And we ended up getting pulled out of line, it was a really fucking long line, might I add.

[0:45] We got pulled out of line to sit in the press booth, based on the question, do you guys talk during movies?

[0:52] And I was like, no? And she was like, okay, I'll be back in a minute.

[0:56] And came back and took us to the front of the line.

[0:58] So, for a while, I was obsessed that she had the hots for me.

[1:01] But nonetheless, so we ended up going into this press booth, in the balcony.

[1:07] And we're like, wow, this is really cool. There's us and nobody up here.

[1:11] And then Stephen Summers came out to introduce his movie, director of the Mummy movies, which, okay.

[1:19] And then he also directed a movie called Deep Rising with Treat Williams, who was awesome, until he was on Everwood.

[1:26] But I don't want to talk about that.

[1:27] So, and then the lights started dimming.

[1:30] The lights started dimming, and, you know, we're getting pretty jazzed, because we saw the trailers, and Hugh Jackman's got a really cool wig in the movie.

[1:38] So, a bunch of people start filing in to sit behind us, and we're like, what the fuck's going on?

[1:44] And we look behind us, and my friend is like, totally into Kate Beckinsale.

[1:47] So we look behind us, and lo and behold, it's Kate Beckinsale.

[1:51] And let me just point out that in...

[1:54] Chill out!

[1:58] So, and Kate Beckinsale, can I point out, in, like, wearing a t-shirt and jeans is really attractive.

[2:05] Not, I would not kick her out of bed, probably.

[2:07] So, when the movie starts, and of course, it's great.

[2:10] You know, you got two hours where literally every character in the movie is swinging on a rope from one place to another place.

[2:18] Yeah, it's fucking astounding.

[2:20] And, uh, the end of the movie, right before the credits roll, you see a cloud face of Kate Beckinsale.

[2:27] Like, a CGI face of Kate Beckinsale in the clouds, where she cries a single tear.

[2:32] I wanted to laugh so hard, and yet she's sitting right behind me, and it was so fucking hard not to laugh.

[2:40] And then, uh, and then she left very quickly and quietly as the credits began to roll, and I had to sit there and wait until they all left, so that I didn't look at them.

[2:48] So, that was a really good adventure at a movie theater.
