[2:01] It promises to be a busy evening
[2:04] Now, let's meet our players and their characters
[2:09] This is why I start out yeah
[2:12] I know you said it. I just thought that there'd be a
[2:15] Toss or something?
[2:19] Let's introduce the characters super deep pretty clear toss
[2:27] Like this is the order
[2:29] You haven't even said our real names. Would you usually do at the start? I said players, okay
[2:35] This is not a critique I'm just I'm talking about my own confusion you did
[2:40] Hey, I'm Dan McCoy of the flop house, but right now we're doing slop tales a
[2:45] spinoff of
[2:47] the original popular flop tales super body. Yes bonus episodes and
[2:53] In this episode, I'll be playing Luke rot warmer
[3:00] Who you know works at this
[3:03] Restaurant, of course. I'm a I'm a sweet
[3:06] innocent college boy
[3:09] And I wear the uniform of a college boy who doesn't know how to dress yet
[3:15] But it's kind of a sweet nerdy man working somewhere, which is khakis and a white shirt
[3:23] Neither of them fit well
[3:25] That's all I have to say right now, I guess
[3:27] I'll introduce myself. My name is Elliot Kalin and today. I'll be playing the part of Jeremy scales Chandler
[3:33] I am the I'm the sous chef over at the Silver Bell and
[3:37] You know, I'm not from I'm not from a privileged background. I worked my way up my family
[3:42] They you know, they work the docks. They work the sea
[3:44] My dad is a is a sea cucumber farmer
[3:48] Which is you know, he just catches him and it's not it hasn't been a great catch the last couple seasons
[3:53] So that's why I'm working my way up through the ranks at the Silver Bell
[3:56] I'm the sous chef there and you could think of me as a guy who's got like, you know
[4:01] Like one of those half aprons real filthy never gets washed and kind of like a sleeveless bands t-shirt
[4:07] I think that band is probably gonna be
[4:11] let's see early Genesis and
[4:14] You know the real the real
[4:17] Yeah, and and it's also filthy yeah, it's also very stained does not get washed now real quick you said it's Jeremy scales Chandler
[4:25] Yes scale stand for scales represents fish scales because I grew up again cutting it
[4:31] Scraping the scales off of sea cucumbers and whatever else my dad could catch in his little dinghy of a boat that barely kept us
[4:37] Supported I'm a real townie guy with a from a humble background, you know
[4:41] I always have fish scales under my fingernails and I smell like fish scales
[4:45] And so it's it started as an insulting nickname, but I've kind of taken it on
[4:49] I've started to own it, you know, and I wanted to say that in the kerfuffle where I did everything wrong
[4:55] I forgot to mention. I am the host at the restaurant. That's your job my job
[5:01] Hi, I'm Jim and Parang and I'll be playing Terrence Silverbell
[5:05] He is the son of the owners of the Silverbell Tavern and he is the new manager
[5:11] It is the it is the job that he has been raised since birth
[5:16] to to be he
[5:18] Has been the town of what the silver bells have been the town royalty
[5:22] For as long as he's been alive on to four or five generations when they were the first family that founded the town
[5:30] Settled there built the tavern before they built any houses. The tavern has the best position in the town
[5:37] Looking at over the beach on a small little cliff over all the houses
[5:42] Are sort of like surround the towns the town sort of centered around the Silverbell Tavern
[5:48] Terrence is a very handsome young man
[5:52] He is dressed impeccably in a managers of a restaurant's outfit black pants
[5:58] Buttoned down shirt the black tie that comes down that is kind of tucked into the between the third and second button of the shirt
[6:06] With a little beautiful gold. I'm sorry. Excuse me silver pin that says
[6:11] Terrence on it
[6:12] He is a little too tall to be handsome
[6:16] Just so his height reaches just a little bit the the point where it stops being attractive and starts being a little like oh
[6:22] How does he get around?
[6:24] Yes, people worry about your bone density
[6:27] yes at that point and it's a little bit of a thing for him, but
[6:31] He he has nonetheless gotten by on his family's
[6:36] Largesse and wealth and all beach passes all year round
[6:40] He's every hotel in the area every other tavern always gives the family all the soup to nut specials all the
[6:47] beach chair and poolside access
[6:51] And he is fully fully taking advantage of all of us from the first day
[6:56] He is not actually worked at the restaurant very long, but he has managerial DNA. I'm glad he got over the trauma of being too tall
[7:04] One one other thing I forgot to mention about Jeremy scales Chandler
[7:07] The character also has a beard we should mention it's a pretty scraggly beard
[7:10] It's not by choice just by not shaving and the beard also has scales fish scales kind of caught in it from you know
[7:16] Sometimes I'll just pick up a fish and take a bite out of it and you know, he's a guy. He's a real
[7:20] He's he's a real. He's a real slob. You know, he's
[7:24] He's a real humble guy
[7:30] It's the choice of lack of least resistance the hairs coming out he's not gonna stop it, you know, and it means that
[7:37] When they're worried the health department's gonna show up. He has to wear a little beard net. Yes
[7:44] Okay, because otherwise the scales sometimes fall from his beard into the food yeah the other people in his eyes
[7:50] the other
[7:51] Customers get very mad with their fish scales get on there the fish scales that they ordered. It's very upset
[8:08] You
